I have been alerted (thanks, James) to the latest Future of Media Report 2007. The report gives a nice snapshot of the changes happening in global media for the year to June 2007 (although just missing out on the consummation of the Rupert Murdoch-Wall Street Journal deal). In addition, there is some interesting data on advertising, including online channels, and the take-up of social media and social networking sites. There is also some interesting network analysis on media ownership in Australia undertaken by Optimice. The report is well worth a look.
